Her historical fiction novel “Chicago & Western” begins a new series connecting turn-of-the-century Chicago’s high society and the city’s notorious underworld.
Other works include a contemporary mystery, “In Plain View,” which launched the Carina Press imprint line, and a noir screenplay about a haunted genius “Garbageman,” which has been optioned by Warner Brothers.
She has writing credits in local news, business and non-profit organizations. Film and television production credits include the indie-feature film “Bound,” as well as programming for ABC-TV and WFXT-TV Boston. She wrote, edited and produced the catalog “Early Illinois Folk Art.”
Chosen as a Writer in Residence at Ragdale Foundation, she is a member of the Writers Guild of America-East, Historical Novel Society, and Romance Writers of America. She speaks about writing to libraries, literary groups and readers.
